Overview
At Millennium Slate we use Velcro® brand industrial hook and loop fasteners to make home improvement projects easy. Installation starts with one of our laminated hook boards. Simply mark, cut, and fasten the board to your surface. Once in place our finishes, which come equipped with loop backing, can be easily applied forming an instant bond. No waiting for glue, mortar, or adhesive to set, just stick our tiles and panels to the wall and watch your project take shape. Want to make a change? Simply peel off and re-stick your finishes without harming the adhesive strength of the hook and loop system. Enjoy the freedom to try out different patterns, make mistakes, and change your mind without consequence.
Installation Made Easy
01
Install the Board
Measure and cut the laminated hook board to fit your surface. Once in place, apply a construction adhesive to the back of the board and screw it to the wall.
02
Lay Your Materials
Stick Millennium Slate's loop-backed building materials to your hook board. Slate, brick, and wood finishes all attach with the same ease. Thanks to our precision cuts, slate can be dry stacked, creating a distinctive appearance that's uniquely yours.
03
Finish
To achieve a sleek, glossy look, consider applying a stone sealer to your final product. This can enhance the finished appearance and shields against everyday wear and tear.

Hook and Loop
A Strong and Durable Bond
Hook
Nylon hooks designed to stay rigid, producing a surface that grabs the flexible loop
Hook under 10x magnification

Hook is factory applied to our installation boards. Choosing the right hook board is important and depends on the job.
Loop
Hair-like loops that tangle and become interlocked with the plastic hooks
Loop under 10x magnification

Loop is factory applied to the backside of the materials being used for cladding. The cladding materials come ready to install.
Hurricane Tested
Our Centennial System has been certified as compliant with ASTMD 3161 Class F and with FM4475 up to 160 MPH. What does this mean? Our Velcro® adhered roofing system can withstand hurricane force winds up to 160 MPH without failing. We use the same industrial-strength Velcro® on all our products, meaning you can rest assured that your home improvement project will hold up to even the most severe of conditions.
